Our Journey

We understand that connecting with God is in the heart of many folks. Who is God? What does it mean to know him? How can I know him?

These are some of the questions that we all have in this journey of life.

We believe that God has made himself known through Jesus. It is through Jesus that everyone can experience peace with God. It is through Jesus that the Bible is understood. It is the heart of Jesus' message to affirm that everyone matters to God.

We want you to know the joy and peace and strength that is yours because of God's mercy and kindness that he has shown you through Jesus, and continues to show you.

Bruce Martin, the Pastor of River Oaks, loves to share from the Bible in ways that add value to folks' lives. He is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas.

His desire is to develop a community of people here in Eugene that is connected with God and with one another in meaningful ways.
